Unfortunately for the fans of Atlanta the NHL has fast tracked this sale to a point where there is no time to wage any kind of counter offer/rally that will work. Lets hope they do not pull the same thing with the Yotes when they find somewhere else to put a team.
I think the petition is a little late. True North already bought the team and is selling season tickets for 2011/2012 in Winnipeg. The relocation will be approved by the BOG... after all, would you say no to the $60 million relocation fee? After 2 days of selling to 60% of the Moose Season ticket holders, they have sold over 4000 tickets. The tickets go on sale to the general public on June 4th after all Moose season ticket holders have had a chance to buy tickets and it is expected the remaining season tickets will be sold that day.
This is my second attempt trying to follow your blog. I tried back when blogger was having a hissy fit. I went to one hockey game myself (not a pro game) and loved every minute of it. I call hockey a REAL sport. Anything physical is my thing. I love football too and root for my LSU Tigers every year. Anyway, I found you on Friendly Friday blog hop. I hope you will follow me back http://talesfrommyjournal.blogspot.com I can be found in facebook too http://www.facebook.com/DeniseMartin.LillaRose and twitter @DeniseLillaRose If you like/follow me there I will do the same for you. When you stop by my blog, please check out my kind of fashion (hair jewelry).
Keep up the good work Heather!
